This page explains, in plain language, exactly what MetaMints does and does not do — so there's no confusion before or after you use it.
SEO Results Are Not Guaranteed
SEO results vary based on many factors including competition, content quality, domain age, backlinks, and search engine algorithm changes. MetaMints optimizes your website's technical SEO infrastructure but cannot guarantee specific ranking improvements, traffic increases, or business outcomes.
No Responsibility for Financial Loss
You are solely responsible for reviewing and choosing to upload any file MetaMints generates. If uploading or implementing those files leads to a drop in your search ranking, traffic, leads, or revenue — for any reason — MetaMints and its owners are not liable for that financial or business loss. We generate files for your review; we do not upload anything to your website, and the decision to deploy is entirely yours.
What MetaMints Fixes vs. What It Can't
✅ MetaMints can fix
- Missing meta titles & descriptions
- Missing Open Graph / Twitter Card tags
- Missing robots.txt and sitemap.xml
- Missing or incomplete structured data (schema)
- Technical crawlability gaps
❌ MetaMints cannot fix
- Thin or low-quality page content
- Weak backlink profile
- Domain age / trust signals
- Competitor strength in your niche
- Search engine algorithm changes
We operate in ADD-ONLY mode — we add missing technical SEO elements but never rewrite your visible page content. If your content itself is thin or poorly structured, technical fixes alone will not move your rankings. Plus and Ultra plans include a written Content Improvement Guide that explains what to fix, where, and how — but applying it is up to you.
⚠️ robots.txt Warning
Review your generated robots.txt carefully before uploading it to your live server. An incorrectly configured robots.txt can accidentally block your entire site from search engines. Always check it against your site structure before deploying. MetaMints is not liable for traffic loss caused by a misconfigured file after download.
Schema Markup Accuracy
AI-generated structured data (schema markup) — business name, address, phone, opening hours — must be verified for accuracy before deployment. Incorrect structured data can result in search engine penalties. On Plus and Ultra plans, we show you a schema confirmation step so you can review and correct details before they're finalized. On Starter, we generate only conservative schema types that carry lower risk.
AI-Generated Content
MetaMints uses artificial intelligence to analyze your website and generate recommendations. AI output, while generally reliable, is not infallible. Always review generated files before deploying them to a live website.
Our Recommendation
Treat MetaMints as a thorough technical SEO foundation, not a complete ranking strategy. Review every generated file, apply the content guide where relevant, and pair technical SEO with genuinely useful content for the best results.
